About the Role
As a Research Scientist at Mosaiq, you will investigate open-ended technical questions and explore emerging ideas, often at the intersection of theory and practice. This role is more exploratory and academic in nature, but still grounded in building. Research may involve experiments, prototypes, simulations, or small applications that test ideas in areas such as AI, human-computer interaction, algorithms, or related fields. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy asking "why" and "what if," reading deeply, experimenting, and turning abstract ideas into something tangible.
Requirements
- Strong curiosity and interest in technical research
- Ability to think analytically about complex problems
- Experience programming in at least one language (Python preferred)
- Comfort reading technical documentation or papers
- Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly
- Strong intrinsic motivation to explore unanswered questions
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python-based research or experimentation
- Interest in AI or machine learning
- Experience building small prototypes or proof-of-concepts
- Interest in human-computer interaction or UX research
- Experience writing technical explanations or reports
